What we store, why, and what we never do with it.

Last updated 3 July 2026

What we collect

Account data: your email, display name and avatar, handled by Supabase Auth.

Study data: the subjects, grades, tasks, resources, flashcards, focus sessions, rooms and messages you create. This exists so the app can work — nothing more.

Presence: if you use the social features, your chosen status (online, studying, on a break, away) is visible to your friends and room members. Pick "Invisible" and nobody sees you.

AI processing

When you use AI features (exam generation, the solver, the assistant), the relevant text from your materials and your question are sent to the AI provider you selected (e.g. NVIDIA-hosted models, with Google Gemini or Groq as fallbacks) to produce the answer. They are sent per-request, not in bulk.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not track you across other sites. There are no third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the app.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with row-level security, so each account can only read its own rows plus what the social features explicitly share. The app itself is hosted on Vercel.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data. Most of it is editable directly in the app; for full account deletion or a data export, email us and we will handle it. If you are in the EU/EEA, these are your GDPR rights and we honour them.
